The city Explorer tram is fantastic to see all the main highlights of the city. Places like
Kings Park are covered on the journey where one can see the whole city and the
meandering Swan River from above.
A ferry service is available on the Swan River at Barrack Street Jetty and this will
lead you to Fremantle, where you can avail of more CAT bus routes or else take the
Fremantle tram from the Kings Square, where you will get to see more of the suburbs.
One can book a ride on horseback along the city shore, as well as hiring a bike near
the Barrack Street Jetty and cycle down along the riverside. There is also a ghost walk
around Fremantles old haunted buildings.
There are shopping tours that will bring you to various outlets around the city. Why

There are places in the city that are worth spending lots of time exploring and

the city and Swan River, , Perth Zoo, the Perth Mint in Hay Street, which is Australias
oldest operating mint since 1899. The mint produces gold, silver and platinum coins.
There is a good museum with a great display. The Old Observatory is really nice areas
to check out and spend many hours exploring.
